Design, manufacturing and installation of a giant LED screen under the arch of the Opéra Bastille. This screen, with a high resolution and a 8mm pitch, was installed on a motorized steel structure allowing to move the screen down for maintenance operations. For a perfect architectural integration, the screen is borderless and curved, following the shape of the arch. The back of the screen has been covered with an aluminium lining reminding the stone paving of the arch. LAFACADE has also set up Scala Softwre Suite to manage all the contents displayed in real time, from the technical control room or through a secured distant access.
